Here’s How Being Vulnerable Can Change Your Life!

Hello, Becoming the One friends!
This month at Becoming the One, we’re diving into something incredibly important: vulnerability. Not just being vulnerable with God, but also with each other, especially in relationships and marriage. Vulnerability is a core value for us. It is a vital part of living out God’s Word and making it “real” in daily life.
At its heart, vulnerability means allowing ourselves to be fully seen and known without the fear of rejection or judgment. It’s choosing to let others into our heart, even when it feels risky, and trusting God to work through those moments. The Bible teaches that true vulnerability, when rooted in love and trust in God, leads to deeper connections and growth in faith.
You never know when your choice to be vulnerable will produce a harvest for you!
We’re thrilled to share that our dear friends Steven and Victoria are getting married in just a couple of weeks! They met in one of our coed BTO groups, and that experience completely changed their lives. They practiced vulnerability, stepping out of their comfort zones to grow and learn how to become the one. They weren’t looking for their spouses, though they were praying for them—they were focused on becoming healthy, godly individuals who could be blessed with the covenant of marriage.
One of the reasons we love our BTO groups is that they create a safe environment where we can learn to trust God and practice being vulnerable with Him and one another. Steven and Victoria joined the group (separately!) because they wanted to become more like Jesus, and as a gift, they found each other along the way.
BTO groups are for everyone. Whether you’re not ready to get married, don’t want to get married, or are enjoying single life, joining a BTO group helps you grow closer to God and become more like Him, all within a community of like-minded people who love Jesus. Doesn’t that sound great?
With all our hearts, we want to congratulate and honor Steven and Victoria! You two have done an amazing job of listening to God’s voice, following His leading, and working on yourselves. And now you’re about to start this beautiful chapter of marriage! Well done, beloved friends!
With love,
Leon and Salomé
